Multiple CS2 esports events are set to start before the end of 2023, and we'll probably see spikes in usage for CS2 betting sites since esports fans will want to bet on their favorite teams. If that's something you're also interested in, you are at the right place. To help you get up to speed with those events, here is a complete guide on two of the most recent upcoming S-Tier tournaments.

Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023

The first large-scale upcoming CS2 tournament is the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023. It is part of the Intel Extreme Master Series that started all the way back in 2007, with the first event starting on the 15th and ending on the 18th of March in Hannover, Germany. Since then, multiple IEM tournaments have taken place, with a new IEM season after a couple of events.

The Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 is part of IEM Season XVII or 18, where three events for this season have already concluded. Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 will take place in Sydney, Australia, as is apparent from the name, and will have a prize pool of a quarter of a million US dollars. The event starts on the 16th of October, 2023, and will end six days later on the 22nd.

A total of 16 of the top Counter-Strike teams from all across the globe will be participating in this tournament, with some of the most notable names including FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere (NAVI), Cloud9, and Fnatic. The most exciting matches for this event will probably include ENCE, G2 Esports, and Vitality since they are the winners of previous events in IEM Season 18.

Roobet Cup 2023

The second upcoming S-Tier CS2 esports event to look forward to is the Roobet Cup 2023, which is part of the RLG League. Unlike IEM, RLG is a relatively new esports league, with its first event held on the 14th of September 2019. It was also a small event with a prize pool of $3286 and lasted only two days.

However, the league has grown a lot since then, with the prize pool reaching a quarter of a million dollars just three years later with the Roobet Cup 2022. Roobet Cup 2023 will also have a prize pool of $250,000. The event starts on the 25th of October and ends on the 2nd of November, 2023, with the LAN events taking place in Europe.

Since the RLG league has entered the S-Tier, several top teams will participate in the Roobet Cup 2023, including Astralis, Virtus Pro, OG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Fnatic. It will be interesting to see how the newer teams like 9IN3, 9z Team, Eternal Fire, BIG, and FURIA Esports will perform against the Seasoned teams.

Conclusion

With the launch of CS2, gamers are ready to see their favorite teams battle it out on the new game. Two of the most recent upcoming S-Tier tournaments include the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 and the Roobet Cup 2023. We expect to see some intense competition in these events, with a nice mix of both seasoned and new teams.
